In celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Acker is proud to announce a virtual series spotlighting incredible women in the wine community! The wine world has been invigorated by a new wave of women winemakers, sommeliers, beverage entrepreneurs, winemakers, and wine lovers who have built and continue to innovate the industry's vast landscape. This conversation series will feature short segments, hosted by the women of Acker, broaching the topics of entrepreneurship, upending traditional gender roles, mentorship, and advocacy, as we come together over a glass of wine.

Acker's Third Annual Grande Fête de Bourgogne
It is an honor and a privilege to present Acker’s third annual Grande Fête de Bourgogne! While 2021 has made us augment our usual format of in-person meals and tastings slightly, we are thrilled to keep tradition alive with three, spectacular, virtual events headlined by a few of Burgundy’s favorite names for burgeoning Burgundy scholars and practiced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay connoisseurs alike. It is a joy to return to Zoom to celebrate the Côte d’Or and taste some of Burgundy’s best!

Chef Daniel Boulud and Acker Wines team up for a special cooking demo in honor of Citymeals on Wheels! This pre-auction event features four of the superlative wines included in the Citymeals retail offering, and each bottle purchased donates a meal to New York’s homebound elderly. Acker's goal is to donate 10,000 meals to Citymeals on Wheels in 2020. Chef Boulud is the co-president of the Board of Directors for Citymeals on Wheels, and spearheads the Chefs Deliver program, which recruits local chefs to take turns cooking and personally delivering meals to the elderly in need.
