The 2018 Burlenberg "La Colline brûlée" shows a deep and generous, very intense and concentrated bouquet of fully ripe cherries, red berries and lovely milk chocolate notes. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, rich and generous, very juicy but also elegant and complex, silky-textured Burlenberg with fine tannins and long, crystalline-fresh, stimulatingly saline and uplifting acidity. This is a great and sustainable, still-young red that should be served from a big glass. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2022. - WA
